Replacement of two existing single span bridges spanning Osterhout Creek in Tunkhannock Township, Wyoming County. Each structure was replaced and widened along the horizontal and vertical alignments of the existing roadway. Full depth bituminous pavement reconstruction was performed on approximately 100′ of the approach roadways. Between the structures, a 350′ section of the existing bituminous roadway was milled and overlaid. The total length of the project is approximately 1000′.
Traffic was maintained through the project area for the duration of construction. The structures were replaced one at a time utilizing one lane of two-way alternating traffic and temporary traffic signals.
PCS provided preliminary and final design documents for highway, structure, traffic control, right-of-way, and erosion and sediment pollution control. Also provided project management and coordination of all design and permitting tasks associated with environmental and cultural resource investigations and permit acquisition from regulatory agencies.
